On the other side of our greatest fear, lays our greatest power.
This is me with my Improv Troupe. If someone told me my personality was my greatest strength and pathway to power and influence of others, I'd laugh (ironically).
It is.
It's your path to your greatest impact too. It's also the path to power for an effective team. You can do the work, but you can do the work and laugh, foster joy with others and get unparallel productivity and results, effortlessly.
We were each born with a unique humor birthright. Like sadness, fear, ambition and anger, humor exists in each of us. And, contrary to popular belief, you have a means of expressing it that does not make you look stupid or offend others. It's true. You just need to FIRST recognize it. I help. SECOND, you need to identify situations where it shines. THIRD, do the humor reps or run humor plays - whatever your sport. FOURTH, subconscious patterning takes effect et viola, humor bolts into success in you. I coach you though this.
Harvard metadata studies prove that humor works to get more money, negotiate better, make a powerful impression quickly, galvanize, attract, lead, inspire, standout, overcome unconscious biases, build trust, establish rapport, display empathy, illustrate intelligence, shepherd courage, create joy, reduce stress, improve health .....and on and on.
You can build your humorous muscle at the personal unit or the team unit. Each starts with an assessment. My personal coaching involves uncovering your natural humor strengths and pointing them towards productivity and desired outcomes. My team coaching involves studying team interactivity and matching bold team exercises to liberate a collective, shared, inclusive humor. Some of this presents as storytelling workshops, role plays and off the wall work...all rooted in fun! All work is rooted in self-improvement.

Based on the course they teach at Stanford's Graduate School of Business, behavioral scientist Jennifer Aaker and corporate strategist Naomi Bagdonas delve into the surprising power of humor: why it's a secret weapon to build bonds, power, creativity and resilience -- and how we can all have more of it.
In this talk Andrew Tarvin discusses how he brought humor to the workplace while he worked at Procter & Gamble. After being complimented by co-workers on how humor helped them enjoy their work, and not want to leave on a cigarette break never to return, Andrew decided to start becoming a humor engineer--using humor to help people become more efficient and effective in the workplace.
Paul Osincup talks about his idea for using laughter to building stronger leaders as part of the TEDxNapaValley 2016 "Go Figure!" event.
